Chloe Jones and Monster Energy Crescent Yamaha returned to fight for strong results, achieving a fine fourth and sixth-place finishes at Round 2 of the 2026 FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship at the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands, last weekend.
At the start of Race 1, Jones worked her way forward from 11th on the grid to ninth, staying in touch with a big group of riders in the battle for the final podium position. When Paolo Ramos and Sara Sanchez crashed out at the chicane on the last lap, the #15 for Monster Energy Crescent Yamaha came through for fourth place.
Topping the time sheets in Warm Up on Sunday morning was an additional boost in confidence going into the final day, where Jones took another step to fight in the top six across the 12-Lap race distance – finishing just half a second from P4 at the chequered flag.
The next round for WorldWCR is Balaton Park from 1-3 May, in Hungary, where Jones achieved a two second-place podiums in 2025 and holds the lap record of 1’53.089.

“Assen race weekend was a really positive step forward for me, coming away with P4 and P6. More than just the results, this weekend was about building confidence again, finding that rhythm, and feeling stronger every time I get on my Monster Energy Crescent Yamaha R7. Step by step, I’m starting to feel more like my normal self again, and that belief is continuing to grow. We’re moving in the right direction, and I’m excited for Balaton next week! Looking forward to returning to a circuit where I performed strongly last season, with two second-place finishes and the lap record holder. It’s a track that has suited me well and I’ll arrive with positive momentum from Assen, with the aim to continuing to rebuild confidence and consistency.”
