Crescent Yamaha Launches Jonathan Rea Limited Edition Replica R1 in Two Exclusive Colourways

Crescent Yamaha, home of the Pata Prometeon Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team, has unveiled a new limited-edition Jonathan Rea Replica YZF-R1, to celebrate the six-time World Champion’s highly anticipated move to the squad for 2024.

The liveries available are the iconic stealth “Winter Test” colours – identical in design to the #65’s Factory Yamaha R1 WorldSBK revealed by Rea himself ahead of his debut test in November 2023 – or the stunning Pata Prometeon Yamaha “2024 Race Replica” option.

To celebrate the most successful rider in WorldSBK history joining Yamaha and the Crescent team, just 65 units will be available in total – each featuring a numbered limited-edition tank badge to match Rea’s personal helmet designs and individual certification. Specific build numbers can be reserved on a first-come, first serve basis from #1 through #65/65.

At £29,995 (“On The Road” including VAT), the JR Replica R1 has a meticulous, high-quality finish and carefully selected performance upgrades alongside significant weight saving. The pure cross-plane engine note is delivered via the WorldSBK replica Akrapovic exhaust system, as improved handling comes from forged-aluminium Marchesini wheels fitted with Pirelli’s SuperCorsa SP tyres, and industry-leading Ohlins TTX rear shock, NIX Fork Cartridge Kit and adjustable steering damper.

Stopping power is enhanced via a Brembo race-spec master cylinder, paired perfectly with Hel Performance’s braided brake lines, while final drive is delivered via the same quality Gandini front and rear sprockets and DID chain used by the Official WorldSBK Team. Every small detail has been considered, from the race-specification GB Racing brake lever guard and complete engine protection kit, to Pro-Bolt’s titanium fasteners, various GYTR chassis parts, Race Seat’s ultra-grippy track-ready seat unit alongside a full-carbon fuel tank extender, pillion seat cover and tail tidy.

An optional upgrade Braking Pack, featuring Brembo GP4RX calipers and T-Drive race discs (£2,000) provides unparalleled stopping power for even the most discerning track day enthusiast – with an additional Garage Pack (£700) including GYTR front and rear stands, bike mat and bespoke JR Replica Capit bike cover also available.

The total RRP of a new 2024 R1 and all the included upgrades arrives at over £33,000, making this £29,995 Limited Edition “JR Replica” (including certification signed by Team Principal Paul Denning and Rea himself) a competitively priced track day weapon or potential investment opportunity.

From 2025, Yamaha’s YZF-R1 will be developed exclusively for track use in Europe – making this one of the last limited-edition R1 replica machines available for road registration. After Crescent’s exclusive World Championship R1 replicas sold out in less than 36 hours in 2021, high-demand is expected for the new specification “JR” replica, which is available to be shipped globally.

Orders can be secured now at crescentyamahaproshop.co.uk and the first two complete bikes will be available to view at the opening weekend of Crescent’s all-new Yamaha Southampton store on April 12 and 13 – where fans will also be able to meet Rea himself.
