Corpay, a FLEETCOR® (NYSE: FLT) brand and global leader in business payments, has renewed its partnership between Corpay’s Cross-Border business and Yamaha’s Official WorldSBK Team into 2024 and 2025 – coinciding with the exciting addition of six-time FIM Superbike World Champion Jonathan Rea to the squad.
Signing the most successful rider in WorldSBK history bolsters further Yamaha’s commitment to success at the highest level of production motorcycle racing – a commitment that is mirrored in Corpay’s industry-leading FX solutions which are utilised directly by the team and many of its partners.
The team will proudly continue to carry Corpay’s identity on its Yamaha R1 WorldSBK official race machines, riders’ racing leathers, official team uniform and supporting materials for the next two seasons on the world stage, in addition to providing Corpay’s customers and partners with VIP guest experiences.
Over the winter upcoming test schedule which includes two days at Circuito de Jerez this week, both Rea and Locatelli sport a special “winter livery” featuring a special grey, white and carbon fibre which hints at some of Yamaha’s historical colour schemes – as debuted by Rea in his maiden test. The full 2024 team livery, including Corpay’s identity, will be revealed at the end of January.
